We are always looking for new interns to support us in our main areas of work: partnerships, learning and communications, Uwazi, Uwezo and operations. Internships are available in our three country offices: Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Twaweza internships are normally for three months and can be a maximum of six months.

We encourage applications from skilled and motivated young people to serve as interns. The intern will be given specific tasks and responsibilities and will be challenged to develop their capabilities and gain experience. We are looking for interns who are committed, hard-working, positive, open-minded, reflective and willing to learn.

We seek to find a balance between East Africa interns and those from other countries. We look for a diversity of interests, backgrounds and experiences. At any one time we expect to host between three and five interns.

What we offer

Twaweza does not offer any remuneration for its internships. It offers an exciting work environment, modern office space, lunch and a modest allowance to cover local travel.
