Disarmament Internship

RCW is looking for an engaged, organised and bright Disarmament Intern!

Would you like to work on disarmament, military spending, arms trade and other security issues? Are you interested in working on these security and disarmament issues through a human security and humanitarian lens? Do you want to apply your textbook international relations skills to a real world setting? Do you want to see the UN international security and disarmament system in person and how the civil society interacts with it? Do you want to experience the exciting – and sometimes chaotic – life of working in a grassroots organization with a small budget and big ambitions?

Communications Internship

External and organisational communication, campaign management, social media, copywriting and writing articles, newsletters, pictures and online graphics. These are just some of the exciting things you will get to work on as Communications Intern at the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF).
We are looking for a Communications Intern to join the innovative and challenging work here at WILPF for the spring of 2014. Whether you have acquired your communication skills in the classroom or in the field, joining a grassroots organisation will enable you to transfer them to a professional environment by working on real word issues.

Human Rights Intern

Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) is looking for an engaged, organized, and bright human rights intern!

Would you like to work with women, peace and security issues? Do you want to apply your textbook Human Rights law skills to a real world setting? Do you want to see the UN Human Rights system in person and how the Civil Society interacts with it? Do you want to experience the exciting – and sometimes chaotic – life of working in a grassroots organization with small budgets and big ambitions?

If you have answered YES to the questions above, then we want you to be our Human Rights intern for Winter-Spring 2014!
