Human Rights Internship

Our Human Rights internships range from working with highly-visible grassroots social movements to large multi-national non-profit organizations. Interns who are passionate about Human Rights can gain hands-on work experience that includes increasing people's access to basic services; promoting active citizenship and social justice; Human Rights education; policy, research, and writing; and community organizing.

Internship Position at Gender Advocacy Organization

This internship is with the well-reputed organisation, Women on Farms Project, who focus on feminist rural development in Stellenbosch, situated just outside of Cape Town. Women on Farms Project strives to strengthen the capacity of women who live and work on commercial farms to claim their rights and fulfill their livelihood needs. They do this through socioeconomic rights-based and gender education, advocacy and lobbying, human rights case work, and support for the building of social movements of farm women. You can find out more about them on their website:http://www.wfp.org.za/
