Job Description
Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is seeking a
Campus Chapter Intern to provide direct support to the Volunteer Mobilization
department. This paid internship will be based at HFHI’s operational
headquarters in Americus, Georgia and involves up to 10% travel.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
*Assist in maintaining the Campus Chapter program.
*Assist in the coordination of the Campus Chapter State Farm
Matching Grants.
*Work closely with current campus chapters and affiliates to
collect feedback on successes/challenges and identify new best practices that
can be shared with the chapter network.
*Review current campus chapter resources and make updates or
develop new resources where needed.
*Assist with the maintenance and improvement of the campus
chapter requirement processes.
*Support overall department as needed.
Job Requirements
*Associate's degree required, plus 1-2 years
of related experience in customer service roles OR bachelor’s degree
in lieu of associate's degree plus experience.
*Customer service savvy.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
*Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
*Willing and able to travel up to 10%.
Strongly preferred:
*Experience teaching or working with youth.
*Experience and/or familiarity with Habitat for Humanity.
*Experience in program coordination and planning.
*Experience in volunteer engagement or volunteer program design and development.
*Customer service savvy.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
*Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
*Willing and able to travel up to 10%.
Strongly preferred:
