The Communications and Donor Relations Division (CDRD) of
WorldFish is currently seeking for a Digital Communications intern for the
following functions:
- Identify
current media and social media trends relevant to the work of WorldFish
- Recommend
potential stories for the WorldFish website and social media
- Assist
with:
- Selecting
external stories for sharing through WorldFish and AAS social media
- The
maintenance of the WorldFish Flickr account
- Media
contact list maintenance
- The
creation of written content for the WorldFish website, including news
articles and blogs
- Uploading
content to the WorldFish website
- Other
relevant activities assigned by the Director of the Division
Key Requirements
- Degree
in communication/journalism/media relations or related field with a strong
interest in traditional media and digital marketing
- Intermediate
HTML skills
- Excellent
written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong
organizational skills
- Strong
editing skills
- Demonstrated
ability to work to a deadline and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability
to work alone as well as part of a team
- Hard
working with a good work ethic
- Proficiency
in English
