D.C..
Position Description:
For NCCOR the intern will assist with communication
activities, with a special focus on how local and regional decreases in
childhood obesity are reported in the media and social media. He/She will also
do literature reviews and other searches to collect data on these decreases,
outlining the described causes of the declines. For the National Diabetes
Prevention Program the intern will assist with the development of consumer and
grantee communication materials, monitoring of the grantees’ promotion of their
programs and identify lessons learned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Working
towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or other related field
- Attentive
to detail
- Tech-savvy
