Intern, SMC

Position Description:

The Communications Intern will assist various projects across SMC. Tasks will include:

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks
  • Attend planning meeting and prepare materials for upcoming public health communication training
  • Assist with writing communication materials, including drafting web content
  • Work both independently and with assistance researching reporters and news outlets and updating press list used by various SMC projects
  • Opportunities do develop media outreach and social media skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or other related field
  • Attentive to detail
  • Tech-savvy
