D.C.
Position Description:
The Communications Intern will assist various projects
across SMC. Tasks will include:
- Assist
with daily administrative tasks
- Attend
planning meeting and prepare materials for upcoming public health
communication training
- Assist
with writing communication materials, including drafting web content
- Work
both independently and with assistance researching reporters and news
outlets and updating press list used by various SMC projects
- Opportunities
do develop media outreach and social media skills
Minimum Requirements:
- Working
towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or other related field
- Attentive
to detail
- Tech-savvy
