The CMPB Division works in the following thematic areas:
- Area 1: Conflict management and peacebuilding
- Area 2: Training for Peace
- Area 3: Security sector reform and governance
- Area 4: Gender, peace and security
- Area 5: Maritime security
We have a vacancy for one intern for 6 months. The intern will be based in the Pretoria office. The successful candidate will have good analysis and communication skills. He/she will be knowledgeable in the fields of post-conflict reconstruction, peacebuilding, South African foreign policy, and gender, peace and security in Africa.
Requirements:
- An honours degree
- Excellent research, language and writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- A willingness to learn
Salary: The intern will be paid a modest stipend.
