The Social Media & Marketing Intern will support the Marketing Committee by managing social media accounts, drafting press releases, and pitching journalists and bloggers to generate media coverage, and assist in developing creative ideas to generate buzz.
This position is for 1 semester with the opportunity to re-apply for another semester, must be at least 21 years of age, and must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a local college in business, marketing, or journalism program.
This opportunity also includes 1 year paid SULYP membership fees. This is an unpaid internship opportunity.
The applicant must also have their own smart phone, ipad, tablet, and or laptop to ensure your ability to update social media sites during an event.
