The Arts Internship Program enables undergraduate Faculty of Arts students to develop their skills and expand their resume with part-time, unpaid positions that offer meaningful, career-related experience within their communities. Internships formally integrate academic learning with development through work experiences and help students’ to expand their knowledge, experience, contact base and chances of future career success.
The application deadline for Winter 2014 is October 11, 2013

To participate in the Arts Internship program, you must:
- Be able to personally and financially commit to 8-12 hours/week during the length of the internship (4-8 months) – exact hours will depend on each internship opportunity
- Be an undergraduate student at the UBC Vancouver campus
- Be in the Faculty of Arts
- Have completed the first-year English requirement or the Writing component of the Writing and Research requirement
- Be in good academic standing
- International students must also have a valid off-campus work permit. For more information, see the International Student Handbook.
