GNG currently seeks motivated and enthusiastic individuals to undertake research and assist with curriculum development for GNG educational programs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in development of project-based learning curricula and materials for ongoing and upcoming programs;
- Design lesson plans, activities and other education materials;
- Monitor and moderate social media discussions among program participants;
- Conduct research on geographic and thematic program areas;
- Serve as a liaison with educators and partners;
- Assist in outreach and membership development activities;
- Assist in facilitation of interactive videoconferences between students;
- Provide general administrative support for dynamic program implementation.
Additional Requirements:
- Graduate-level students preferred; undergraduate juniors and seniors may be considered;
- Experience working in educational settings strongly preferred;
- Experience in curriculum development;
- Interest in global issues and 6-12 grade education;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills;
- Independent self-starter, energetic, detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn.
