Shelter Centre is currently looking to recruit interns to assist in our small but dynamic NGO, which

This position will be on a full time basis. Shelter Centre is not currently in a position to remunerate

also be able to commit themselves for a minimum of one month.

Successful applicants will undertake an ongoing series of Shelter Centre programme deliverables,
such as for example assisting in the creation of a Shelter and Settlement Library, develop policy and
technical guidance in collaboration with other humanitarian partners, as well as assist in the delivery
of the first inter-cluster common humanitarian technical training.

• Fluent English (minimum Level C1 proficiency)
• Strong communication skills, writing and editing skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy, including strong command of MS Office programmes
• Computer graphic skills, with experience with InDesign, Photoshop etc

• Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously;
• Willingness to work with minimum supervision, independently, as well as to function as a member of a team
