Its purpose is to empower women who face oppression by providing them access to education, employment, and security. CAWRI seeks to defend the rights of women, youth and children by providing them education and resources. We strive to establish a society where the women are able to participate in all levels of development planning and practice. We want to mobilize the communities and acknowledge girls' and women's roles towards the social, economic and cultural development in rural and urban areas.

An ideal intern must possess the ability to work in teams, be held accountable, participate in cross-departmental planning and work with a diverse group of stakeholders. A graduate degree and/ or demonstrating interest in a career within the field of women's human rights, women's and social justice philanthropy is a plus.
