Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders

The Washington Fellowship aims to build and sustain a prestigious network of young Sub-Saharan leaders across critical sectors, cement stronger ties between Sub-Saharan Africa and the United States, and prepare the participants for follow-on leadership opportunities in Africa, with the goal of strengthening democratic institutions and spurring economic growth and development on the continent.
