Data Management Intern

Total Family Care Coalition (TFCC) is a non-profit family run organization that serves families and youth with mental health challenges. We are looking for a graduate level intern to work with us on important challenges families and youth experience on a daily basis.
Data collection and reporting drives decision making especially in the nonprofit industry. This position will support the Data Coordinator with reporting, data quality assurance and Collaborative wide data requests. Key to this position is advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

The intern will perform the following tasks:
• Maintain, support and introduce data into the data collection and reporting system.

This position will support the Data Coordinator with reporting, data quality assurance and Collaborative wide data requests. Key to this position is advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. The intern will perform the following tasks: • Maintain, support and introduce data into the data collection and reporting system, ETO. • Assist Data Coordinator with routine data quality processes • Extract and organize data for weekly, monthly and grant reporting • Assist Data Coordinator with Collaborative wide data requests • Collaborating with program managers to develop and design data collection forms and procedures • Interacting with staff around data quality support needs • Support staff in understanding the importance of data collection
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: • Passion for, commitment to and understanding of TFCC's values and principles that will improve the lives of vulnerable children and families. • High ethical standards and values. • Superior technology skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and data management system. • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Superior analytical skills with an eye for quality. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. • Must be resilient and tenacious with a high level of personal integrity and passion for TFCC's mission to improve family functioning, increase neighborhood capacity building, and simultaneously elevate issues to a public policy level to effect positive change.
