Our mission at BURN is to save lives and forests in the developing world through the design and dissemination of clean burning cookstoves. We currently have an opening for a 4- 9 months Mechanical Engineering internship which will split between our lab on Vashon Island, WA (outside of Seattle) and DRC/Congo starting on July. BURN will provide housing. Stipend is available.
The position will assist in: the establishment of an assembly facility and developing a new gasifier stove.
Desired Experience- Mechanical Engineering background (or the like)
- SolidWorks
- Experience with dimensioned part drawings
- Rendering
- Speak French fluently
