Internship Assignment
Perform research and data analysis concerning countries starting nuclear
power programmes
Prepare case studies under the supervision of INIG Technical Officers.
Opportunity to assist the Technical Officers in most of the preparation
of workshops and technical meetings, including development of the syllabus,
preparation of briefing material and presentations.
Be involved in the drafting and review of IAEA technical documents such
as the NE Series documents.
Participate actively in the preparation of the IAEA General Conference
briefing material, attend the
plenary session and provide statement summaries to be used by the NE
management.
Provide inputs and write short stories for the website
Skills
A strong interest in energy, specifically nuclear energy and in the
policy aspects of the development of a nuclear energy programme.
Good analytical capabilities and excellent writing skills.
Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, physics, management or policy
studies, with emphasis in the
energy sector.
Knowledge of nuclear power and possibly experience in the nuclear power
sector, acquired through internships in an NPP or a utility
Project management experience an asset
