Overview: |
The
World Resources Institute (WRI) is seeking a Media Assistant to expand
WRI’s outreach and communications to engage media and WRI’s audiences
worldwide. The Media Assistant will support WRI’s External Relations
including writing, media relations, and online communications. The Media
Assistant will work closely with WRI’s programmatic staff to enhance
the Institute’s work on climate, energy, water, transportation,
governance, business, and urban issues. This position offers an
opportunity to have a high impact with a small and effective
communications team, as well as room to grow within the organization.
The Media Assistant will report to the Director of Strategic Communications & Media Relations.
WRI focuses on the intersection of the environment and socio-economic development. We go beyond research to put ideas into action, working globally with governments, business, and civil society to build transformative solutions that protect the earth and improve people’s lives. |
