Summary
The Humanitarian Response Personnel (HRP) Intern is responsible for operational and data entry assistance related to the HRP scheme. The HRP Intern also follows up on related pending issues for HRP support and works with the HRP manager on submission of reports.  The Interns also works on projects as we develop systems and procedures for HRP deployments.
 
Responsibilities
  • Data entry
  • Spreadsheet support
  • Compiling reports and developing tracking systems
  • Assists with organization of capacity building events
  • Assists on special projects for Disaster Risk Reduction.
 
Requirements
  • College degree preferred, current student is acceptable
  • Possess strong written skills, solid interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be enrolled in a relevant undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate academic program
  • Must be able to receive credit from their college or institution. (A minimum requirement is a letter from a professor supporting the candidate. This is only needed when an internship is offered.)
