Summary
The Individual Gifts Department is looking for a bright detail oriented student interested in learning about Direct Marketing.  The intern will work on projects focused on archiving past Direct Mail campaigns.  S/he will assist in helping develop processes needed to create campaign binders. The majority of time will be spent gathering, categorizing, organizing samples and documents related to past campaigns and then compiling them into binders for reference purposes.  This is a great opportunity to learn about all aspects related to direct mail marketing operations.
 
Responsibilities
  • Gather and identify  existing direct mail samples  
  • Categorize, organize and execute creation of binders for archiving purposes
  • Receive incoming vendor samples and seeds
  • Update existing file cabinets by categorizing and organizing samples into consistent file folder names, campaign numbers, dates, colors, etc.
  •  Create and make file folders, tabs, for cabinets and multiple binders
 
Requirements
  • Understanding and/or background in marketing/non-profit,
  • Self-starter, self-disciplined, organized, problem solver,
  • Task oriented, quick learner.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be enrolled in a relevant undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate academic program
  • Must be able to receive credit from their college or institution. (A minimum requirement is a letter from a professor supporting the candidate. This is only needed when an internship is offered.)
