Save the Children
Summary
Save
the Children’s U.S. Programs is currently looking for a summer intern
to help support our communications efforts in the United States. Save
the Children is one of the largest children’s aid organizations in the
world. Our work in the United States focuses on helping the nearly 1 in 4
children in poverty get a chance at a fair and healthy start through
quality education and physical activity/nutrition programs.
Responsibilities
• Conduct research
• Maintain success story database, including adding and editing content • Update editorial calendar • Draft written materials for internal and external communications • Help maintain database of photo and video assets • Build media lists • Learn how to sort media clips and monitor news • Other administrative tasks as assigned
