Position Summary
The
Marketing & Communications Intern is responsible for supporting the
Futures Group and GRM International Corporate Communications
department, including internal and external communications efforts. The
role helps to implement the company’s communications strategy to build
and strengthen GRM International and Futures Group’s external brand
across its global markets and internal cohesiveness.
GRM
International and Futures Group stand at the nexus among three major
bilateral aid donors – the US Government, the UK Department for
International Development, and the Australian Agency for International
Development. The Marketing & Communications Intern will have the
opportunity to research international development projects supported by
these leading donors.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Communications
- Support the web presence for GRM International and Futures Group, including the public website and social media presence
- Support the development and maintenance of collateral (electronic and print)
- Assist in the organization and logistics of the production of marketing/communication deliverables
- Assist in research for and drafting of comprehensive and results-oriented marketing materials that incorporate proof points and real life personal stories demonstrating in-country project outcomes
- Support other marketing and communications activities as assigned
Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelor’s degree candidates, preferably with experience in Marketing, Communications, or other related field
- Strong attention to detail is absolutely essential
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Strong command of English grammar, with strong writing, research and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in ExpressionEngine or similar content management system a plus
- Professional demeanor and passion to contribute to the mission of GRM International and Futures Group
- Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility
- Usual office working conditions free of disagreeable elements.
