Due Diligence for Financing Two Proposed Private Sector Infrastructure Projects in the Power, Telecom and/or Transport Sectors, Located in Myanmar
Summary of Job Description
The Intern will assist in due diligence for financing of two proposed private sector infrastructure projects in the power, telecom and/or transport sectors, located in Myanmar. Due diligence will include a sector analysis as well as an economic, financial, technological and sponsor evaluation of each project. The assignment will include business travel to Myanmar for 3 days.

Expected Outcomes

The Intern will be a member of a due diligence team in ADB's Private Sector Infrastructure Finance Division, and his/her output includes specific sections of the final due diligence report used for financing power, telecom and/or transport projects as well as a short presentation of his/her findings.

Educational Requirements:

Candidates must:

• be enrolled in a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program or equivalent, at a school in one of the ADB member countries, both prior to and after the internship assignment.
• be engaged in academic study in a field directly related to ADB's work.

Working experience with financial institution or infrastructure project sponsor.

• Position reports to assigned Professional Staff Supervisor.
• Candidates must be a national of one of ADB’s member countries.
• Past interns are ineligible to apply in subsequent years.
• Close relatives of ADB personnel are ineligible to apply but ADB spouses may apply if the eligibility requirements are met.
• Internship duration is 8-12 weeks.
• Assignment is from June to September 2013.
