ITU Internships

The International Telecommunication Union is currently running non-remunerated internships which aims at giving young students an opportunity to improve their skills and gain valuable experience in an international environment. This internship can take place either at ITU Headquarters in Geneva - Switzerland or in one of our regional or area offices located in various cities around the world (Addis Ababa - Ethiopia, Yaoundé - Cameroon, Dakar - Senegal, Harare - Zimbabwe, Brasilia - Brazil, Bridgetown - Barbados, Santiago de Chile - Chile, Tegucigalpa - Honduras, Bangkok - Thailand, Jakarta - Indonesia, Cairo - Egypt, New York - USA or Moscow - Russia).

Internships are normally open to undergraduate and graduate university students from ITU member countries. Currently candidates are selected on an ad hoc, first come first serve basis determined by the needs of various Sectors and departments within ITU.

Applications can be submitted at any time, exclusively through ITU’s online e-Recruitment system.

Priority is given to students with at least a first university degree, a second degree is preferable. Internships are possible throughout the year and may last from one to six months (maximum).
