Rainbird is a non-profit organization committed to the end of child abuse. We work globally via phone and internet. Your job is to build and maintain relationships to have people fund the movement to end child abuse via events, cocktail parties, and individual contributions. Your actions represent Rainbird. We expect the highest standard of responsibility, honesty, loyalty, and integrity.
Objective
Build a strong, reliable fundraising department that provides Rainbird with the financial foundation to give our leaders the tools to end child abuse around the world.
Qualifications
- Sales experience
- Committed to Rainbird's mission and able to convey it to secure funding
- Hard working, organized, and self-motivated
- Innovative and creative
- Accomplished networking skills. Must have a rolodex of connections
- Efficient at time management and managing details
- Non-profit fundraising experience preferable
- Personable, approachable, and persistent
- Impossible to say no to
- Relate to people easily
- Overall a positive person that loves a challenge and does not give-up
- Able to take responsibility and learn from your mistakes
- Experience working successfully with volunteers
Responsibilities
- Educate people about Rainbird
- Build healthy, long-term donor relationships
- Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Broaden Rainbird's network of individual contributors
- Plan, organize, and produce events and cocktail parties
- Hit weekly financial goals and provide a weekly report

- Must be committed to the end of child abuse
- Start immediately; hours TBD
- Salary position with performance-based bonuses
