Fundraising Intern – Job Description

• Research new foundations/grants to apply for funding.
• Seek out various ways to raise funds for the organization (including corporate sponsorships/financial support, grant opportunities, etc.)
• Plan and execute fundraising events on a regular basis.
• Prepare an annual fundraising campaign strategy/timeline.
• Work closely with the Financial Management Officer to obtain organizational goals. Help with editing and writing of proposals and reports.
• Research similar non-profit organizations like ours that may be interested in collaborating on one of our projects (possibly share resources and curriculum).
• Create financial analysis spreadsheets with future projections and future budget requirements.
